Pens v Sens, and Hipsterville

I'm getting just as bad as Em at updating this....
Anyway, the Penguins had a GREAT game on Wednesday (8-2, for those of you who didn't watch). Geno had a hattrick, and Guerin had 2 goals so here's the recap:

I was pretty damn close on the predictions. Well, kinda. The only one who didn't score was Sid, and the one who was wishful thinking (Geno) scored three goals. So... maybe not so close. But better than you, Matt.

So that ends my hockeytalk. Now on to HIPSTERS!

I spent Christmas in hipsterville, AKA Silverlake. I saw Sherlock Holmes in this really great old theater (the Vista, if you're wondering), surrounded by cigarette smoking, blazer and sweater and boot-wearing, nothing matching hipsters. It was glorious. I may or may not have muttered, "This is going in my blog...." under my breath once or twice. If I had a camera/ could figure out how to use it, I would put some pictures up. It was something straight out of LATFH.com.

Anyway, Sherlock Holmes was excellent. Guy Ritchie, AKA ex-Mr. Madge was brilliant, and RDJ was at his best. I must go see it again.

Warning:
If you do venture to the Vista (it's on Sunset and Hollywood... how much more trendy can you get?) try not to think about the fact that it was once the hotspot for... wait for it... gay porn! yeah! Probably thinking twice about it now, huh.
